The Biennale de Paris in Luxembourg
The Biennale de Paris comes to Luxembourg as part of its twenty-first edition, running from October 1, 2018, to September 30, 2020. This decentring initiative was launched by artist Gary Bigot in partnership with the Luxembourg School of Contemporary Art.
The Biennale welcomes proposals that champion invisual art.
The theme of this edition is: “The Air I Breathe Out, You Will Breathe In”.
The Biennale de Paris in Luxembourg takes the form of an app that allows users to geolocate their breaths on a world map. They can also participate from a computer or tablet by enabling the microphone. Each breath can be accompanied by a message.
Much like a social network, users thus help spread a creative breeze around the world.
How to Use the App
- Download the “Biennale de Paris – Luxembourg” app to your smartphone.
- Open the app.
- Breathe out.
- Send a message with your name or pseudonym, if you wish.
